KMR

 

CCHR International har sin verksamhet i Los Angeles och är en paraplyorgansiation för över 130 lokalavdelningar av CCHR (Citizens Commission on Human Rights) i 34 länder. Den startades 1969 av Scientologi-kyrkan och dr Thomas Szasz, professor emeritus i psykiatri vid State University of New York i Syracuse.

Jan EastgateOrdförande i CCHR International är Jan Eastgate, som verkat mot psykiatriska övergrepp i snart 30 år. Hon kom ursprungligen från Australien och avslöjade bl.a. deep sleep-behandling inom psykiatrin i sitt hemland, vilket ledde till att metoden förbjöds och att patienter kompenserades av den australiska staten. Deep sleep var en dödlig mix av sömnmedel och elchocker under lång tid som användes för att medvetet bryta ner männsikor psykiskt.

CCHR Int samlat en rad experter inom många områden, allt från medicin till konst, i ett Board of Advisors, som ger CCHR Int råd och information från sina områden. Medlemmar var i januari 2006:
